strong families by providing comprehensive child placement

services to families living anywhere in Wyoming. We are

committed to finding adoptive families for orphaned

and abandoned children and to providing aid to children in need.

Here are links to many projects which benefit children. These organizations appreciate individual donations of goods including handmade items, blankets, toys, clothes, school supplies and more. Whether you are looking for a way to stay busy while waiting to adopt, or looking for a way to share the bounty in your own life, you will find many worthwhile causes here.

Ronald McDonald Houses
Donate toys, games, food, common household needs and clothes.

KasCare
Simply knit or crochet an 8" square and this group puts them together as blankets for AIDS orphans in Africa.

Loved Twice
Donate gently used baby clothes to be distributed in hospitals, clinics and shelters.

Stuffed Animals for Emergencies, Inc

Donate new and gently used stuffed animals for children in distress. Plus, links to other similar organizations.

KIDS - Kids in Distressed Situations
Donate new clothing, toys, shoes, baby products, books and more to children and families challenged by poverty, homelessness, domestic abuse, low literacy, military family service, major illness, incarcerated family members, and disaster survival.

Newborns in Need
Volunteers provide knitted, crocheted and sewn premature and full-term baby items. Chapters collect formula, clothes, blankets, diapers and baby hygiene items to be distributed in their local communities.

Nationwide Children's
Provide "patient dolls", blankets, pillows, activity bags, picture files, and toiletry kits for hospitalized children.

Samaritan's Purse
Provide a shoebox of gifts and supplies for a needy boy or girl.

Mother Bear Project
Provide comfort and hope to children affected by HIV/AIDS in emerging nations, by giving them a gift of love - a hand-knit or hand-crocheted bear.

Locks of Love
Grow your hair out long, then have 10 inches or more cut off to provide hairpieces to children suffering from long-term hair loss from a medical diagnosis. Participating salons provide free haircuts and you simply mail in your donation bound like a ponytail.

Project Linus

New, handmade blankets or afghans for children in need.

The Santa Train
New clothes and toys are needed for children living in poverty in Kentucky, Virginia and Tennessee.

Tiny Stitches
Clothing, bedding and other items for newborns in Georgia + donations of yarn and fabric are needed.

Pine Ridge Reservation
Donations needed: school, sewing, crafts, sporting, baby, and office supplies, toiletries, clothing, Christmas gifts, holiday items, bed, bath and kitchen linens, cold weather gear, crayons and more.

Bears Without Borders
A $15 donation builds a fuzzy, overstuffed bear in the United States and distributes it to a South African child being cared for in a hospital or an AIDS orphanage.

Lucy Ladybug Knit-along
Burial clothing is needed for preemie and full term babies. Knitting for little ones who's time on earth was short can be sad, but very rewarding.

Vehicle Donation Program
Donate a used vehicle to help a child in need because of accident, injury, fire, diaster, or child abuse.

Project Night Night
Donate blankets, books, stuffed animals and gift cards for homeless children in California, Florida, Michigan and Ohio.

Donate clothes and household items to a local charity. Nationwide database.

Cubs for Kids
Knit sweaters, hats and scarves for homeless children. These are distributed on cute teddy bears.
