Our StaffDanalee Thornock - Director Danalee has 17 years experience working in the adoption world. A graduate of the University of Wyoming, she is the mother of 2 adopted sons. Danalee runs the agency office and is well-informed and qualified to consult with you about any adoption topic. She would love to have a conversation with your family about your obtainable, domestic adoption choices. Dellory Matthews - Webmaster & Family Profile Specialist Dellory also has 17 years experience in adoption work. She's a graduate of BYU and the mother of 8 children, including 2 adopted daughters. Dellory is an expert in preparing paperwork and has saved many families time and frustration by assisting them to prepare adoption documents correctly. She aids clients in creating their family profiles that are used by birth mothers to choose a family. Dellory also designed and maintains our website. Rachael Turley - Networking Specialist Rachael has a BS degree from BYU and 6 years experience working in adoptions. She is the mother of five daughters and one adopted son. Rachael networks with other child placing agencies to help families with home studies make the best choices for their adoption needs. Families find that she will demonstrate huge efforts until she finds an adoption situation that will work for them. Rachael is a caring listener and a great support to families. Penny Larson - Photolisting & Foster Adopt Specialist Penny was introduced to the foster care program quite by accident. And now, after 18 years of experience as foster parents, she and her husband are the adoptive parents of 13 children, most of whom were adopted from the foster care program. Penny well understands how to navigate the photo listings of available children and is familiar with adoption procedures in many states. She also knows the services available to families who adopt special needs children. Penny is ready to share her adoption expertise with you. Pat Boyer - MSW LCSW Pat is an Emeriti Associate Professor of Social Work at the University of Wyoming. In addition to working for Connecting Hearts, she currently has a licensed, private mental health practice in Casper, Wyoming. She is very active in community service, has published articles and written grants. The families who work with Pat state that she removes the concern out of preparing a home study and is very helpful after their adoption is completed. Pat travels over the central and eastern parts of the state. Clive Hallam - MSW LMFT Clive has a Masters degree in family services and marriage and family therapy from the University of New Hampshire. He conducts home studies and post placement and post adoption reports for Connecting Hearts and also performs therapy with couples and individuals and families for High Country Counseling and Resource Center in Afton, Wyoming. He travels the western part of the state. Clive is a professional who is very approachable. Zack Bird - MSW Zack graduated from the University of South Carolina with a MSW degree in family counseling. He has previously been employed by the Casper, Wyoming school system and currently works at WBI in diagnosing and counseling youth. Zack willingly travels where he is needed to complete home studies and post adoption reports. Families who work with Zack find him accommodating, friendly and adept.
